Strange article of the day:
The New York Times has a feature on cousins who not only acknowledge an attraction, but get married and have kids.
Thanks to the article I’m now familiar with things like “cusbands” and Cousin Couples, a site that works to overturn laws prohibiting cousin love.
Is it just me or does anybody else find it strange that the nation’s most respected newspaper thought this was something that needed greater attention? I’m also disturbed by the article’s subtitle, “shaking off the shame.” Is there a movement to legitimize incest that nobody told me about?
