Gilbert Arenas Suspended By NBA

Gilbert Arenas just can’t help himself.

The basketball star, already under investigation for bringing guns to the locker room, made a bad situation worse by imitating gunfire before last night’s game.

This proved to be too much for league commisoner David Stern to handle, and he has suspended Arenas indefinitely without pay.

If the suspension lasts for the rest of the season, Arenas will forfeit over $7 million. His team may also try to void the remaining years on his contract to relieve themselves of a player clearly not worth his salary.

One thing I can’t understand about the photo is the reaction of his teammates. Look at them laughing and smiling. They seem to find the charges as trivial as Arenas.

Al Sharpton has already commented on Arenas, perhaps he can use this photo to make a statement about the casual acceptance of violence in the black community.
